A spacious, dark and beguiling room with a snaking bar, a lofty ceiling, a sparkling chandelier and wine-red curtains, specializing in Vietnamese and vegetarian cooking. In fact, the two kitchens are kept separate to assuage hard-core vegans. There are big salad platters, vegetable mashed potatoes, dumplings, tempura and spring rolls, and such chef`s specialties as sate duck in a spicy chili sauce, crispy red snapper, and sizzling Vietnamese rice crepes filled with shrimp, pork and mushrooms. Great beers from Belgium and England, lots on draught and lots of bourbons are another draw.
Apple offers international cooking. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12, and dress casual.
