amberleewriter - Bravo is a chain restaurant. I've been to several locations in other cities but the one in Indianapolis still manages to have a `hometown` quality that I find enjoyable. My husband and I spent many date evenings at this one when we were `courting,` and I had a birthday party here one year.
Steaks are as good as you can get at most of the more expensive spots in Indianapolis at a much more reasonable cost. Pastas are always done aldente with sauces that don't separate. I personally like the ravoli and when they have a chef's special I almost always order it.
For a long time Bravo had one of the best Ceaser salads in the city. Sadly, they've reduced the amount of anchovy paste in the dressing and you can really tell the difference. While it's still a solid offering, fans of a TRUE Ceaser should look elsewhere.
Atmosphere is casual and service is consistantly good. Wine list is more than passable and the servers are educated enough to give you very fine recomendations. The one major drawback to Bravo is parking. It's usually so jammed every night that the lot is full by 6:30 and you have to park across the street.
