The Raj may have ended long ago, but you wouldn`t know it from the blinking gold crown that blazes on the "Viceroy of India" sign. There are two parts to the restaurant: a small room where you can place take-away orders or have a quick, casual meal, and a large, elegant dining room with candles, wicker chairs, and plum-colored napkins and carpeting. The menu tends toward North Indian and Pakistani dishes, and any of the three Chef`s Specials provide a good introduction to this cuisine. These include the special dinner (several chicken dishes, a vegetable curry, dal, and dessert), a tandoori mixed grill, and a vegetarian bhojan (a choice of three vegetable dishes served with naan, salad, dal, and dessert).
Viceroy Of India serves up an Indian menu. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12, and you`ll be appropriate if dressed casual.
More Reasons to Go: There is background music while you dine. Viceroy Of India is great for groups and private parties.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a buffet.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Catering for various events can be arranged (call for details & quotes). Smoking is permitted in smoking areas.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
