Aptly named for the 20 foot long zinc bar gracing the front room, Bistrot Zinc is the newest addition to Chicago`s bistro scene. With wicker chairs and marble topped tables on the sidewalk cafe and white table cloths and tiled floors in the dining room, it`s a great choice for a neighborhood place that makes you feel like your neighborhood is in Paris. Diners have two choices: either a quick-stop cafeteria-style cafe serving gourmet sandwiches and salads; or, a full service dining room serving classic bistro fare.
Zinc concentrates on a French menu. Expect to pay $12 to $20 per person.
