Ruth`s Chris, a classic steak house, is one of a chain out of New Orleans. The menu is standard steak house fare: to start shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon or escargot, a long list of vegetable side dishes a la carte, a few perfunctory fish offerings (a tank of live lobsters greets you as you enter the restaurant), pork chops, lamb, sweatbreadsàand steak. The cuts are ample and perfectly cooked. You decide if you want a sauce (hollandaise, bearnaise, spicy garlic) or just butter.
