Atmosphere: Papa Shy`s Bbq Sports Pub was founded in 1967 in Pomona California by Don Shy and his father (the original Papa Shy). Structurally, the restaurant utilizes a good deal of glass and windows. The place has an original and unusual 1960`s - 1970`s style décor with a jazz theme. The interior is accented by red tones, enhanced by prints and flowers and plants, and the lighting is soft. The place is decorated with a large collection of sports memorabelia, and there are walls with photos of famous people.
The restaurant is small with seating for 45 people, and is cozy and comfortable and relaxed and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem - noise level here is moderate.
