Atmosphere: You`ll be able to take in the view of Mountains, Trains, Harbor from many seats at this restaurant. The restaurant has an eclectic wood finished European style décor. The interior is accented by wood tones, enhanced by consignment artwork and flowers and plants, and the lighting is moderate. Ceiling fans compliment the restaurant`s style, and there are hardwood floors.
The eatery is spacious with high ceilings with seating for 100 people. It is cozy and comfortable and relaxed and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem - noise level here is moderate. Also, you`ll notice that there is a visible kitchen.

About the Chef: Kenan Fox is a young, energetic chef who has trained his staff well in the preparation of authentic German fare. He also adds his touch to more common items, makes everything with love.
The Management: Jon Norris and Drew Kondik and their families have both lived in Germany in the past, and are in touch with many aspects of Seattle life, ranging from the athletic to the theater and music crowd.
Details to Note: Reservations are not necessary. Carryout is available. Smoking is permitted in smoking areas. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly. Children are welcome. The restaurant stays open late.
