Atmosphere: Stone Ashley officially showed up on census reports as a residence in 1932. Since then it has been a Bed and Breakfast and at one time sat on over 380 acres. Now the building is 40,000 sq. ft. with the restaurant only occupying 10,000.
Located in The Ponds Mansion, which dates back to the early 1900s. It is styled after an Italian Villa and built with stone from The Grand Canyon which is no longer legal to harvest, you`ll be able to take in the view of Greenery and Fountains from many seats here.
The restaurant`s overall structure was influenced by European architecture. The restaurant has a luxurious and avante garde Italian flare. The interior is accented by warm tones, enhanced by oil paintings and a garden, and the lighting is soft. The use of elegant fabrics compliment the overall look and feel, and the exposed stonework is a notable aspect of the décor.
The facility is very spacious with seating for 150 people. It is luxurious and romantic and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive. Also, you`ll notice that there are chef tables.
