Atmosphere: Palm was founded in New York City 1926 by two gentlemen from Parma, Italy. Their grandsons are the current owners of the Palm, which now includes twenty-two restaurants across the country. The walls are covered with cartoons, a tradition started back in 1926 when local newspaper men would draw cartoons on the walls as a way to pay for their meals. The restaurant.
