Atmosphere: Lanning`s a family owned landmark restaurant in Akron for over 25 years. You`ll be able to take in the creek view from many seats here. The restaurant`s overall structure was influenced by European architecture. The restaurant has a classic décor. The interior is accented by warm tones, enhanced by antiques, and the lighting is set quite dim. Classic brick completes the restaurants overall style, and tables are covered with linen tableclothes.

The establishment is spacious with seating for 125 people. It is formal and relaxed and frequented by professionals and couples. Table talk is easy - this restaurant is quiet and subdued. Also, you`ll notice that there is an open kitchen.
