Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. The cuisine here is influenced by Haute Creole cuisine with equal parts French and contemporary American flourishes. The cuisine is perfect with wines from the excellent cellar of Cuvee.
A full selection of alcoholic beverages are served, and you`ll find that there is a superb wine list with vintage options. In addition, the restaurant has a seated bar inside.
About the Chef: Chef Richard ``Bingo`` Starr has been a leading cook in Emeril Lagasse`s restaurant empire. His talents were noticed by the new Cuvee management, and Chef ``Bingo`` has created a menu that has been the talk of the town. Cuvee is quite possibly the hottest new restaurant in New Orleans. The cuisine is based on classic Creole ideas, with fresh and bold new twists.
The Management: The management of Cuvee also operates the longstanding Northshore classic French/Creole restaurant, the Dakota. Impeccable taste and a playful respect for the glories of New Orleans give both places the distinction of solid reliability and wonderful culinary creativity.
