Maybe one of the most talked about places in all of South Florida, the Delano and the Blue Door Restaurant attract more out-of-towners than the Marlins (our professional baseball team). Known as the place to be spotted in, the Blue Door has a menu that is as chic as its customers. They have just opened a pool-side bar/grill for outdoor dining. The Delano has made dining pool-side uber-chic. The menus at both Delano outlets are decadent upscale, expensive, and well worth the cost if you are looking to be seen with the "in" crowd. Also, world famous chef Claude Troisgros has recently taken over in the kitchen.
Best known for giant ravioli stuffed with a mousseline of taro root in a sea of wild-mushroom foam, this fine dining restaurant offers an eclectic French and South American cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost over $30.
