Chef/owner Tony Clark takes his role of producing exciting (but in no way quirky) food for his demanding clientele very seriously. And the instant acclaim awarded to this handsome, Italian-design post-modern restaurant testifies to the fact that his instincts and follow-through have succeeded admirably. An appetizer of tender, tasty sweetbreads followed by succulent boneless quail makes a dinner that showcases Clark`s talents, although there are more conventional offerings that are also appealing. And, as a bonus for "good boys and girls" who finish their dinner, award-winning pastry chef Eric Boerner brings his talent to the table in his own inspired way. There`s also a lively bar scene with a simple bar menu and a subterranean caviar and champagne operation.
This place specializes in an Italian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $8 to $12.
