Kampai is a new Japanese restaurant where Buckhead`s Ru San used to be. The building still capitalizes on a huge patio out front and a very long, commodious sushi bar. The fare consists of lots of one- and two-dollar nigiri and maki sushis, as well as a specialty menu of sushi "rolls". The entrees are highlighted by Pacific Rim dinners, and traditional Japanese dishes. The ambience can be noisy, but Kampai is definitely authentic and already very popular.
Kampai serves up a Japanese cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
