With tiny Tartine a huge success, its new sibling, Titou, will help handle the overflow. It`s a pretty place with exposed brick, a tiled bar and sponged salmon walls holding medieval-looking wrought-iron art. The small menu is classic bistro fare and the French wine list reasonably priced. Standout dishes include pissaladiere, a thin-crust tart with onions, tomatoes, basil, anchovies and Nicoise olives; grilled salmon with navy bean and fennel stew; and seafood vol au vent served in puff pastry with tomato-saffron sauce.
This place serves you a French cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and go dressed casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are suggested on weekends. Carryout is available.
