While owner David Selig had an immediate hit on his hands with the tasty tapas at N, the verdict is still out on his new venture, Rice. It`s quite a concept to zero in on this simple grain, and sometimes it works. Black beans and rice (several varieties to choose from) satisfies basic tastes, and chicken curry with yogurt, banana, almonds and raisins over basmati is delectable. The take-out space is cozy and industrial, and the adjacent dining room more relaxing. The wine list is surprisingly ambitious.
Rice Take Out specializes in Thai dishes. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12.
