A giant bronze Medusa medallion beckons diners into this grand, sultry restaurant dramatically lit by red candles lining the terracotta walls. The staff is gorgeous, the crowd trendy, and diners can survey the scene from a wrought iron balcony. The room pulses with international music and the long bar is a happening scene. Flavorful Mediterranean dishes include cold smoked swordfish sliced like carpaccio, herb bread topped with Greek kefalotyri cheese flamed in ouzo, and squid ink ravioli stuffed with lobster.
Medusa is a place that serves up Italian and Mediterranean food. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and dress casual.
