Evoking the grace and beauty of Acapulco, Maya has burnished yellow walls, an inlaid wood floor, exquisite silver artifacts and malachite sculpted birds perched on the backs of cast-iron stools at the bar. Chef/owner Richard Sandoval, who grew up cooking in Acapulco at his family-owned restaurants, is a master in the kitchen. Menu items include guacamole (served in volcanic rock bowls), chile poblanos bursting with seafood, and tender chicken in mole sauce. It`s sophisticated Mexican cuisine at its best.
Maya is an upscale facility that serves patrons a Mexican fare. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and dress casual.
