Evocative of Madrid, this Tribeca tapas bar and restaurant is particularly appealing for its dark wood and brick, fun Spanish art, rows of books and hand-painted plates. While Flor de Sol is completely modern, the high ceilings and medieval touches give it an otherworldly feel. Popular dishes include tortilla espagnola (Spanish omelet), caldo gallego (hearty vegetable and bean soup from Galicia), and traditional p`lla with chicken, sausage and seafood. They also have an especially good selection of sherries, ports and different types of sangria.
If you go to Flor De Sol, you`ll find a place that serves up Spanish dishes. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20.
