If Zibibbo reminds you of the once mega-hip LuLu`s, you`re not imagining things. The chefs both hail from that SoMa gem, and the food is reminiscent of the Mediterranean style which made LuLu`s so popular. It`s a huge restaurant with a lusty, warm feel that matches the menu. Try the small plates of cured ham (the restaurant has its own charcuterie) and dates, or have a plate of skillet-roasted mussels. Roasted quail is recommended, as is the cheese tortellini and the famous LuLu rotisserie rosemary chicken.
Zibibbo is an upscale establishment that prepares its guests a Mediterranean cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost from $12 to $20, and people are quite appropriate dressing casual.
