Black metal/plated glass garage doors roll up along the stark industrial patio with a black sand fire pit and flatrock waterfall. At the bar, periwinkle dot stools glow against the giant nightclub`s smoky colors: mahogany, granite, ochre, olive and brick. It`s pretty snazzy. There`s a soft underbelly to this new blues giant: the pedigreed chef`s menu (from Gene Guazzo) waiting to please the unsuspecting masses. Though it`s more eclectic than cajun, you can get hot stuff like gumbo, catfish and blackened ribeye steak. And, they have 20 beers on tap.
Hop City Steakhouse And Blues serves up American meals an emphasis on seafood and steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12.
