From pretty painted shutters to a hot Latin band to your host, Green Burrito magnate Ruben Reyes, Cuban Pete`s is well worth investigating. Reyes recalls a charming Ricky Ricardo on Thursday nights, circulating among the guests in the bar, playing a little percussion and even singing occasionally for twentysomething couples gripped in a salsa embrace. The cigar selection is extensive; the dining room service is excellent. Try the terrific filet mignon or go for broke with a whole roast pig.
Concentrating on a Cuban and Puerto Rican cuisine, this is an upscale restaurant. Expect the average entrée to cost from $12 to $20.
Atmosphere: The facility has an authentic décor. The lighting is moderate. The restaurant is spacious. It is comfortable and cheerful and patroned by all kinds of people.
