Rarely do you notice a floor when you enter a restaurant, but the attention to detail prevalent at Osaka is evidenced by the intricate network of pine and bamboo under your feet. This airy, spacious and serene space is in the Benihana mode -- that is, you sit around a hibachi and watch the chef work his magic. In this case it is not hokey at all, and the beautiful surroundings and delicious meal makes for a wonderful experience. Try the combination lobster tail, shrimp and scallop plate, or the wonderful grilled seabass. The price of the entree includes a light Japanese soup and small salad, or you can order very good gyoza, or try the chicken yakitori.
