Jake & Earl`s Dixie BBQ, a popular seven-stool Cambridge hole-in-the-wall, has been reincarnated as a sit-down place in a humbler Boston location. Although a lifesize steer sculpture now serves as decoration, chef Ken (Jake) Jacobs is still serving up mean Texas-style pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken - all slowly smoked over hardwoods.
