One of San Francisco`s newest hot spots, 2223 Market (affectionately known as No Name) is the creation of John Cunin, of Cypress Club fame. This is where gay San Francisco -- and just about everybody else -- converges to discuss the latest shade of MAC lipstick or gay marriage legislation over the signature giant martinis. The pan-roasted chicken is wonderful, and the pizza is expertly baked. Noisy, crowded, and slightly pretentious, No Name is San Francisco at its hippest.
Serving an ethnic Californian cuisine, this is an upscale establishment. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20.
