Best known for Second-Best Margaritas (proclaimed by owner, bested only by a Mexican restaurant in Yuma, Arizona), this place dishes up an American cuisine an emphasis on steaks and meals prepared-to-order. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and guests are quite appropriate dressing casual.
Atmosphere: Architectually, the restaurant is in an historic structure. The place has an eclectic and unusual décor. The interior is enhanced by prints and flowers at the tables, and the lighting is warm. Ceiling fans compliment the restaurant`s style, and there are walls covered with photos.
The place has several dining rooms. It is charming and energetic and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.

Of Interest: The motto of the restaurant is ``Fine Food, Cocktails and A Sense of Humor``. They have a unique club for `Regulars` in the ``Wine Cellar`` upstairs in the bar. A monthly calendar/newsletter is sent out to cardholders with daily specials and events for `Regulars` only. You must present your card in order to receive these specials. Every night there are 7 to 12 off the menu specials and if you still can`t find something that appeals to your cravings, you can request a meal of your choice, upon approval of the chef, of course. All items are prepared fresh and one plate at a time.
The Management: Bob ``Tuck`` Swinford and his wife, Karyn, opened Vivian`s Vineyards (named after his mother) almost 6 years ago. This is not Tuck`s first venture in the restaurant business and he has also been a car salesman. The short version of the story is on the back of their menu.
