About the Chef: Chef Paul Prudhomme is a Louisiana legend, with many cookbooks and his own line of spices, foods, and skillets. His hallmark has always been fresh ingredients and fiery Cajun flavors. While Chef Prudhomme is increasingly busy with his other businesses and writing recipes, Paul Miller is the longtime Executive Chef for the restaurant. The freshest shrimp, crawfish only when in season, and dry-aged prime rib and other meats are staple ingredients. The menu changes daily, which may mean it`ll be impossible to enjoy your favorite again and again, but the kitchen`s creativity is always full speed ahead.
The Management: K-Paul`s was once as famous for its long lines for the first available table as for its spicy cuisine. After an extensive remodeling, a new upstairs room is now dedicated to patrons with reservations; please note that reservations also require dressing up more to a business casual standard. Downstairs is still ``first come, first serve`` in a more casual atmosphere. There`s also a small retail store on site featuring all of Chef Paul`s books, food items, and gifts.
