This is the suburban sibling of the River North establishment of the same name. At this location, they`ve expanded the original menu and set it in a less overtly stylized restaurant. Chef Roberto Duran has built a full menu of hot and cold tapas with an emphasis on regional cooking from Barcelona. There are traditional dishes such as seafood p`lla, and a wide range of tapas such as fried Spanish olives with chorizo stuffing, grilled calamari, and angel hair pasta with shrimp in a saffron sauce. The beautiful courtyard is a great draw. On Thursdays there`s live flamenco guitar. So if the weather is fine, plan to have a long dinner under the stars and the strains of sensual music.
