True to its name, this pleasant restaurant has lovely al fresco seating in the garden and garden-inspired decor in the dining room, where a vernal painting surrounds diners while light sifts through with studied laziness. It`s principally a brunch venue, and a good one. The salads are crisp and bright, and the onion soup has been a consistent favorite since Tuba Garden`s inception. On balmy summer days, request a table outside among the flowers and iced-tea sipping patrons.
If you try out Tuba Garden, you`ll find a restaurant that focuses on Continental and Californian meals. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
