Renowned local food critic John Hinterberger chose this as his number one restaurant for 1996. To be sure, the menu focuses on succulent seafood, inventively prepared, but for the hard-core carnivore, there are offerings such as chicken, lamb, beef tenderloin and a fine domestic foie gras. The mahogany room is sophisticated and the marina view complements the wild Pacific salmon and pan-seared scallops. The spacious lounge features live vocal jazz on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
If you go to Third Floor Fish Café, you`ll find an upscale restaurant that serves American dishes emphasizing seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $20 to $30.
