From the famed Al-Amir, where her Lebanese delicacies were served by tuxedoed waiters, Chef Em-Toni has transferred her interests and her energies into serving her well-known homemade cuisine at this already- popular lunch counter in West Los Angeles. Its white-tiled interior, paper plates and plastic utensils are reminiscent of an ice cream shop, but the ever-present crowd of young Lebanese-Americans is enough to convince the adventurous diner to try the authentic hummus, babaganouj or a simple salad with homemade Lebanese cheese.
This place offers guests Lebanese cooking. Expect to pay under $8 per person.
