Friendly, small, and simple, Siam on Broadway (there`s one on Lake Union now too), which opened in 1986, is one of Seattle`s original Thai restaurants and it remains one of the best. The tiny open kitchen and sparkling fish tank are good diversions, but once the food comes you`ll be very busy. Try the tom kah gai which is traditional spicy chicken, lemon grass, coconut milk soup, any of the variety of Thai curries, or the salad of bean threads with pork, squid and onion.
