When you walk into the Russian Bear, you may feel like you`ve stepped into a Russian mafia den. The restaurant is huge, with `70s style chandeliers, white tablecloths, mirrored walls and a very particular clientele of Russian 30-somethings. It`s an experience worth having. Try the traditional borscht, and move on to the pickled herring and smoked salmon platter. The more conservative among you will like the beef stroganoff; also consider chicken Kiev or pork stew.
Russian Bear focuses on Russian food. Expect the average entrée to cost from $8 to $12, and overall, people dress casual.
