Radio Valencia made the news in late 1994, when a fire truck slammed through its plate glass windows, destroying the cafe. No one was hurt, but the regulars were devastated by the loss of their hangout. Now it has reopened, and the denizens are back for the delicious black bean chili, huge focaccia sandwiches, and weekend bluegrass. It`s a casual venue with a hip atmosphere, and the counter is a great place to sit and people-watch.
If you go to Radio Valencia, you`ll find a coffee shop that serves American meals an emphasis on sandwiches, soups and salads. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.
Atmosphere: Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
More Reasons to Go: The live jazz is a great part of your dining experience at this restaurant. Radio Valencia is great for groups.
