Set in a country manor and presided over by Jean and Doris Banchet, Le Francais continues to delight diners. The food is magnificently and meticulously prepared, the dining room is run with style and grace, and the wine list is world-class. Recent entrees include John Dory sauteed in a horseradish sauce and a game combination of venison, rabbit and squab served with three sauces. The evening closes with Mary Beth Liccioni`s extraordinary chocolates, which leave the perfect aftertaste of a memorable evening.
