Owned by the current mayor of Los Angles Richard Riordian this cafeteria-diner characteristic eatery, feels like it still is being run back when it was built in 1924. Open 24 hours seven days a week the interior portrays all of the years that it has been open. Dusky tiled floors and unruly vinyl booths are set against familiar brick walls. Don`t get me wrong this place sells out of food everyday. Hefty portions of comfort-laden food bathe the guests in happy reminiscings of the American diner of years ago. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are spill out into the dinning room filling its patrons with rib roast, rotisserie chicken, and not to be missed cole slaw.
If you try out Original Pantry Café, you`ll find an eatery that offers an American menu. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $8 to $12, and dress casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are not accepted. The restaurant is open 24 hours.
Ways to Pay: Cash Only
