The valet parking sign is all that is visible in front of the pruned green hedge and patina white lattice exterior of the Moustache CafT. Inside is a garden patio setting under a glass roof that protects its visitors from the Hollywood elements. Polynesian-style chairs and groups of plants with twinkling lights are the decor highlights only the house soufflT is the menu highlight. The French bistro menu is excellently appointed and well-rounded, with a top-notch wine list.
Serving a French and American cuisine, this is an upscale establishment. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20, and patrons for the most part dress casual, but fashionable.
Atmosphere: The establishment has an elegant décor. The interior is accented by dark tones, enhanced by displayed artwork and flowers and plants, and the lighting is by the glow of candle flame. Tables are covered with linen tableclothes. The restaurant is comfortable and relaxed and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
