The Mecca offers a straight up diner and bar, side by side, that have been serving fine diner food since 1930. Recent updates added leather booths and a sleek new counter but the feel is still "no frills". Tough guys don`t dance, they sit and are served by good lookin` dames -- you get the picture. For breakfast try the biscuits and gravy, or the huevos rancheros. Lunch runs from chili burgers to hot turkey sandwiches. Dinner specials feature NY steak and chicken dijon.
