The movie set for many of the Melrose Place restaurant episodes, this family operated Italian is only steps from the Hollywood studios and gets many of it`s patrons from the industry. Small tables and chairs emboss a black tile floor and a pink blush interior. Italian artwork and antique menus placard the periphery of the very simple, elegant, and smart setting. Seafood pasta, cartotcio (12 pound stripped sea bass which is deboned at your table), and ricotta cheesecake are stars on the decidedly Mediterranean menu.
With a menu offering an Italian fare, this is a family place. Expect the average entrée to cost over $20.
Atmosphere: The place has a colorful décor. The interior is enhanced by contemporary artwork, and the lighting is set quite dim. Tables are covered with linen tableclothes. The place has two dining rooms. It is charming and relaxed and typically grabs a family crowd.
More Reasons to Go: Marino is great for anniversaries and other romantic evenings.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Carryout is available. Parking has been arranged for customers.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa and American Express
