A lot of restaurants were started in North Beach in the early eighties, but very few have survived. Little City is one that`s still around. It`s always busy with diners eager to try the extended appetizer list. The wainscoting, tables, and chairs, all made of oak, contribute to the pretty setting, as do the large windows that look out onto the busiest corner of North Beach. Try roasted garlic with brie, mixed green salad with the garlicky house vinaigrette, or the baked mussels.
This place serves up an Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12, and dress casual.
