Small and homey, this old-fashioned storefront restaurant may be an acquired taste, but it certainly has its regulars -- from around the neighborhood, and around the world for that matter. As far as the food is concerned, fried mackerel is not for everyone -- a heavenly scent to afficionados, though. If fried mackerel and ramen is your cup of tea, Koraku is definitely the place for it.
