This restaurant is, hands down, the most romantic restaurant in San Francisco. Perched directly under Coit Tower, it has a view so breathtaking, a dining area so intimate (candlelight, roses, the whole nine yards), and service so accommodating that you may not even notice the average food. When ordering, try to keep it simple. The Northern Italian- and French-inspired menu offers a nice house salad, medallions of beef flamed with cognac in a cabernet sauce, and a decent foie gras.
Located in a genuine castle that was built back in 1922, this is a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant offers guests an Italian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $20 to $30, and visitors are most appropriate to dress formal.
Atmosphere: You`ll be able to take in the bay view from many seats at this restaurant. The restaurant has a 1920`s - Victorian era décor. The lighting is via chandelier. This is a white tableclothe restaurant. With seating for 120 people, the restaurant is romantic and relaxed.
More Reasons to Go: Julius Castle is appropriate (if not ideal) for anniversaries and other romantic evenings. When weather permits, enjoy outdoor seating.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.A full selection of alcoholic beverages are served. You`ll find that there a seated bar inside.
Details to Note: Reservations are required. Parking has been arranged for customers.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Carte Blanche
More ...: Has a view of the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and Treasure Island
