As owner Bob Bass says he offers "everything that is bad for you" at his American basics diner. Jukeboxes are set at every table in this 1950`d flashback foray into America`s diner past. This Johnny Rocket`s clone has the obligatory checkered board tiling and blazing fire pits on the patio. The pleasantly aged waitresses distribute slaw, potato salad, fries, burgers, and heaping pastrami sandwiches filling out the menu as well as the waistline. This greasy joint presents a timeless great grill menu.
Here you`ll find an eatery that dishes up an American fare emphasizing hot dogs and steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12.
