Owner Jack Kreitzman`s star trattoria has been overwhelmingly busy since it opened over a decade ago. Expect a wait, but once inside this tiny space, you`ll feel like you`re a somebody, eating elbow to elbow with the Maillard Swigs and other regulars. Jack`s (as it`s called) once had exceptional Italian food -- lusty, flavorful and creative -- but now it`s resting on its laurels a bit. Try the Chicken G.O.V. (chicken roasted with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar) or any of the pastas. The prices aren`t as cheap as you might expect in such a loud, casual place.
This place dishes up an Italian fare. Expect to pay between $12 and $20 per person.
Atmosphere: Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.You`ll find that there is a good selection of wines.
