Seattle`s true soul comes from Scandinavia and this place is the epicenter of that cultural heritage. The new owners have restored the stunning Fred Oldfield murals, buffed up the 100 year old carved mahogany bar, and spruced up the standard fare menu. The goal: to attract new customers while continuing to serve the regulars breakfast anytime, lutefisk in the spring, and no nonsense drinks in an atmosphere any fisherman would feel comfortable in. Some new dishes include the rocker`s iko, a tomato based seafood stew, and turkey meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and roasted garlic gravy.
You`ll find that Hattie`s Hat focuses on an American cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $8 to $12.
Eating & Drinking: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.A full selection of alcoholic beverages are served.
Notable Mention: Being a good value for your dollar.
Details to Note: Carryout is available. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard and Visa
