Papa Hassan`s, named for a father and chef who passed away before his time, is a celebration of his life in cooking. His restaurant in Lebanon has been recreated in a quaint little house by his son Mustafa, a man so obsessed with freshness and quality he`d be labeled prissy if he wasn`t such a joker. Papa Hassan`s menu includes Lebanese classics like marinated chicken kebab served with creamed garlic, oil and lemon. The regulars (college and family groups) don`t even ask for a menu but recall it from memory.
You`ll find that Hassan`s Café focuses on Middle Eastern food. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.
