Sizzler meets Solvang at the venerable Hansa House Smorgasbord, a buffet serving Swedish ethnic food as well as American standbys. Not having been updated perhaps since its opening in 1962, the dim sign outside gives every sign of an aged tourist establishment, but go see for yourself: Homemade pickled herring in three styles, "limpa" bread baked in-house, stewed lingonberries, red cabbage , schnitzels and rum bananas. And it`s only fair to mention the salad bar, beef service, imported cheese and chocolate mousse.
