Chef/owner Hubert Keller has a tradition of winning local awards for Fleur de Lys. He has carried off honors for most romantic spot, best French cuisine, and best chef. You can rest assured that every dish will be as close to perfection as possible, and that your special occasion will be perfect here. The fabric suspended from the ceiling, draped like the roof of a tent, lends an extra air of intimacy to the darkened dining area. The service is hushed and formal. Keller`s claim to fame is creating French-Californian cuisine without the butter and fat: marinated venison loin is outstanding, as is barbequed sturgeon on warm corn salad. Best known for it`s immense garden tent setting, this is a fine dining establishment. The restaurant serves guests French and American food an emphasis on vegetarian meals. Expect the average entrée to cost over $30, and there`s a prix-fixe menu. Plan to dress quite formal -- jacket and tie are required.

Atmosphere: Fleur De Lys has been around since 1970. The restaurant has an elegant décor. The interior is enhanced by flowers at the tables, and the lighting is via chandelier. The use of elegant fabrics compliment the overall look and feel.

With seating for 65 people, the restaurant has a romantic atmosphere -- frequented by an upscale crowd. Table talk is easy - this restaurant is quiet and subdued.
