The Deluxe has been a Seattle institution since 1962. Years ago, it was well known for an ad campaign featuring a photograph of an eccentric, hippie chef and the slogan "Would you eat food cooked by this man?" Many would -- and did -- and loved it, and the Deluxe is still an attraction for those seeking beer, burgers, and cozy familiarity. The omelets and stuffed, baked potatoes are popular, too.
Go to De Luxe Grill for an eatery that dishes up American food and is most sought for their steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12.

Details to Note: Reservations are not accepted. Carryout is available. The eatery stays open late.
