Glendale gave us the institution of John Wayne, and it kept the one of Damon`s. This Tikki Hut monument to the bovine has been in business since 1947, and their menu hasn`t changed much since then. Burgers galore, steaks, and fresh grilled daily seafood specials are among the choices as you dine in a Polynesian/Trader Vic`s time warp. The customers are loyal -- many go back almost as far as the restaurant. Indeed, Jesse Galvez has personally been cutting the meat at Damon`s for 22 years.
